Police search for suspect who robbed credit union

JACKSBORO, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities are asking for your help identifying the man who robbed a Y-12 Federal Credit Union in Jacksboro on Friday.

The suspect reportedly strolled into the branch in Jacksboro, 2550 Jacksboro Pike, pulled out a hand gun and demanded money.

Witnesses described him as a white man in his mid to late 20s, around 5'6" - 5'8", weighing between 185 and 190 lbs, and wearing a curly blonde wig . He wore gray sweatpants, a gray hoodie sweatshirt, a dark toboggan, gloves, and dark, wrap-around sunglasses.

A reward is being offered for information leading to his arrest. Anyone with information is asked to call the Knoxville FBI at 865-544-0751 or the LPD at 865-562-8331. This matter is being investigated jointly by the FBI Safe Streets Task Force and the LPD.
