CLAIBORNE COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A man and woman have been charged with burglary after a weekend investigation by the Claiborne County Sheriff's Office and Rogersville authorities.
On Sunday, detectives met at the Quality Inn just off Highway 11W in Hawkins County.
Rogersville Police picked up Aaron Lee Smith and Courtney Elizabeth Hatfield, with large amounts of cash. The two were suspects in burglary in Claiborne County.
Witnesses then told officers that the two had stolen the money from a man's home.
Officers recovered nearly $10,000 in cash at a Claiborne County home. They also found more than $4,000 in cash stuffed in Hatfield's bra.
