KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Life won't be the same anymore for Sherry Pryor and her sister, Susan Turk.

"I was just scared for my life. I was afraid for a bullet to come through my door," said Pryor.

Police said Rhonda Norries and Adrian Young tried to kick down their door just before midnight Thursday.

Turk said she's friends with Norries and that they'd been hanging out together earlier in the day. But the mood changed when Norries accused Turk's son of stealing $200 from her - something Turk said never happened. On her way out, Turk said Norries threatened her:

"She said when I bring my sons and whoever else was with her, I'm gonna bring guns when I come," said Turk.

When they heard bashing on their door later that night, they ran to the back bedroom, got down on the floor, called 911 and described the car Norries and Young later sped off in.

"I just figured we were going to get shot. I was scared," said Pryor.

Officers pulled the Norries and Young over at intersection nearby and found a loaded, semi-automatic gun under Young's seat.

Both women are still scared and said they might move. In the meantime, they've wedged chairs under doors and put blankets up over their windows - hoping to feel a little safer at night.

Young was charged with Attempted Aggravated Burglary and being a Felon in Possession of a Weapon as well as an outstanding Misdemeanor Warrant for Failure to Appear. Norries was charged with Attempted Aggravated Burglary, Unlawful Weapon Possession, and Driving on a Suspended License.
