CROSSVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Crossville Police said Franklin Moser broke into the Arches building on Main Street Wednesday morning.
Officers said Moser smashed through several doors and ransacked offices. They said he got away with about $1700, a gun and various electronics.
An observant man saw Moser going into the building - and tipped police off.
"He was able to give us a tag number and upon following up on that, we were able to find the suspect and most of the property that was taken from the businesses," said Detective Danny Harris with the Crossville Police Department.
"He broke through our window and we noticed that the filing cabinet was broken into and we were missing about 270 bucks in petty cash," said Matt Clyde, who works for Rengo Design in the Arches building.
Right now, Moser is charged with felon in possession of a weapon. Police said other charges are likely - the case is heading to a grand jury.
