BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - Officers with the Blount County Sheriff's Office arrested a Maryville man after executed a search warrant on Tuesday.
Justin Dwayne Meece, 23, is charged with two counts of delivery of
a Schedule II controlled substance (crack cocaine) in a Drug Free Zone, and two counts of possession of a firearm during the commission of a dangerous felony.
Meece’s arrest is the result of a search warrant at a home on Blair Lane in Rockford. Four individuals were detained at the time of the search, but Meece was the only one charged. The search also resulted in the recovery of a homemade explosive device which was turned over to the Knox County Sheriff’s Bomb Squad.
Meece was booked into the Blount County Jail. He is expected in court April 2.
