KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A homeless man faces burglary charges after he was caught trying to break into a car parked on 16th Street early Wednesday morning, according to the Knoxville Police Dept.
Shortly before 6:00 a.m., authorities were tipped off to a suspicious person looking into vehicles in the area of Highland Ave. and 14th Street.
The responding officer reportedly spotted Gary Styles getting into a vehicle that did not belong to him. When styles was detained, police said he was in possession of several CD's and a portable radio that did not belong to him.
He was arrested and charged with Burglary and Public Intoxication.
