Crimetracker: KPD officers arrest man after police chase

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Officers with the Knoxville Police Department arrested one man Wednesday afternoon, but not before he lead them on a six mile chase.

Officers tried to arrest him on Carter Road on several outstanding warrants, but the suspect took off.

He headed down Rutledge Pike before bailing out on Parkridge Drive.

The suspect was arrested a short time later.

His name has not been released. It's unclear what the warrants were for.
