KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The man who was shot at a Knoxville bar early Sunday morning told police he doesn't think the shooter was aiming for him.
The victim, Alberto Duenas, said he was working as a security guard when he heard two Hispanic men arguing in the parking lot. When he went outside, he saw a one of the men holding a gun.
Duenas said he turned to run, but before he could make it very far he was hit in the ankle. He added that neither man confronted him before or after he was shot.
Duenas was taken to UT Medical Center with what was described as a non-life threatening injury.
A police spokesperson said they are still searching for the two suspects.
