KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Knox County Sheriff's Department arrested a man Monday night after a chase.
Officers say Chris Forrester walked away from a court ordered drug recovery center and had been wanted ever since.
The chase started on Chapman Highway when an officer spotted the car and ID'd the wanted man.
The pursuit ended on Cherokee Trail.
Officers say no one was injured and nobody else was involved.
They also say speeds stayed between 35 to 45 miles per hour until he got up to Alcoa Highway and then speeds reached up to 65 mph.
He was been charged with escape, driving on a suspended license and fleeing.
That's on top of another warrant for aggravated assault.
A KCSO spokesperson could not say when the suspect walked away from the drug recovery center.
