It started on Churchwell Street where a woman was shot. She was rushed to UT Medical Center.

One man who lives nearby spoke with Local 8 News, "I did think to myself those could have been gunshots but there was some yard work going on next door so when I looked outside and saw it I thought they had just hit something and backed into a car heard loud and pops but I didn't know what it was.," said Nick Stewart.
