Crimetracker: Man shot in East Knoxville home; police search for shooter

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Knoxville Police Dept. is investigating the shooting of a man inside a East Knoxville home late Monday night.

According to reports, officers found Samuel Jackson inside the house, 2531 Louise Ave., shot in the buttocks. He was taken to UT Medical Center with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.

Bridget Eady and her grandchild were also in the home, but were not injured.

The suspect was described as a man dressed all in black. Officers say there are no other witnesses.
