UPDATE: Crimetracker: Tip led police to EFCU robbery suspect

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A tip led police to the Clinton man accused of robbing the Enrichment Federal Credit Union on Schubert Road Tuesday. Someone recognized him from the surveillance picture that aired on the news and called authorities.

According to Clinton police, this isn't the first time 38-year old Charles Harmon has robbed a bank. He served five months behind bars for the 2006 robbery of the Y12 Credit Union in Clinton.

A suspected bank robber has been arrested.

The FBI says agents arrested 38-year old Charles Harmon of Clinton Wednesday night

They say he's the man in a surveillance picture from the Enrichment Federal Credit Union on Schubert Road Tuesday.

He's expected in court Thursday


The FBI and other law enforcement looking for the person who held up a bank Tuesday in North Knoxville.

They say a man walked into the Enrichment Federal Credit Union on Schubert Road.

They say he handed the teller a note demanded money.

He got away with some cash before running away.
