KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - The District Attorney General for Knoxville has shut down a North Knoxville spa under the state nuisance law.
Authorities shut down the Green Spa at 5833 Clinton HIghway #201 as the result of a KPD investigation into prostitution at the business.
The DA's office says employees offered undercover officer sexual acts in exchange for money.
This is not the first time a business at this location has been shutdown because of prostitution.
In September, authorities permanently closed the Smile Spa because of illegal prostitution.
A month later, Green Spa opened in the same location under a new business license and with a new owner.
Authorities say complaints by concerned citizens led to the second investigation and closure.
