KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- One man is behind bars after allegedly robbing a pizza delivery driver late Tuesday night. According to police, the Domino's driver was making a delivery to a home on Barker Ave. when he suspect approached him with the rifle.
The victim said he was told to hand over the pizza and his money or he would be shot in the back. Then, he watched the suspect walked into the home before taking off to call police.
When arriving on the scene, officers said they knocked on the door of the home and were invited inside. Once they got into the kitchen, officers found two Domino's pizza boxes in the stove and a two liter of Sprite sitting on top. Later, they noticed a black hoodie lying on the bed, covering a rifle.
Afterwards, the officers returned with the victim, who positively identified the suspect, Anthony Jerome Hamilton. Hamilton was arrested and charged with Aggravated Robbery. He is being held on $25,000 bond.
