Crimetracker: Police say woman stole change, offered to pay it back

BEAN STATION, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Grainger County Sheriff's Department has arrested a woman on charges related to a 2010 incident.

They say 28-year old Casey Deann Coffey went into Ralph Hill's home on Deer Field Rd. in October 2010 and stole $266.35 in change.

Sheriff's deputies say she then wrote a letter to Hill saying she would pay it back.

Coffey was arrested Sunday. She is in the Grainger County Detention Facility charged with Aggravated Burglary and Theft of Property under $500.00.
