Crimetracker: Police search for Subway robbery suspect

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police are searching for the man who robbed a west Knoxville Subway restaurant late Monday, According to the Knoxville Police Dept., the suspect walked into fast food shop, 7327 Kingston Pike, shortly before 11:00 p.m.

He reportedly pulled out a gun and demanded money from the cash register before taking off on foot headed east. Police said no one was hurt in the incident.

Members of the KPD's Violent Crime Unit and Forensics Unit responded to the scene to continue the investigation.
