RUTLEDGE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- The Grainger County Sheriff's Office says a man has been charged for stabbing his dog.
Deputies say they received a call on Wednesday from 23-year-old Seth Fletcher.
They say he told them he had stabbed his dog after drinking cough medicine and hearing voices in his head.
Fletcher told deputies that those voices told him to stab the dog and then kill himself.
