KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Two men were arrested on drug charges Thursday afternoon after an on-going investigation by the Knox County Sheriff's Department.
Officers arrested Carson Collins, 21, and Alex Ruddick, 23, at their home on Wexgate Road in Karns.
They're charged with selling marijuana, hallucinogenic mushrooms and Xanax.
Officers found approximately 6 and half ounces of marijuana, around 4 ounces of mushrooms, and approximately 21 Xanax pills, and approximately $17,000 in cash in the house. They found around $300, 10 Xanax pills, and about 2 ounces of marijuana in Ruddick's SUV. Both men’s vehicles were confiscated
Both men also had prior criminal histories. Collins has been arrested on DUI, drug charges, and various traffic offenses. Ruddick has been charged in the past with DUI, possession of a handgun while under the influence, drug charges, and aggravated assault.
