Crimetracker: Victim stabbed in late night argument

A late night stabbing sends one man to the hospital on Monday, according to Knoxville Police. The victim told officers he was arguing with the suspect when she stabbed him.

Telisa Lane was charged with aggravated assault following a late night stabbing incident on Tuesday, October 1, 2013.

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A late night stabbing sends one man to the hospital on Monday, according to Knoxville Police. The victim, Jason King, told officers he was arguing with the suspect when she stabbed him.

When officers found him, shortly after 11:30 p.m., he had a small stab wound in his lower abdomen. The 42 year-old was taken to the UT Medical Center with what were described as non-life threatening injuries.

His alleged attacker, Telisa Lane, was found nearby and taken into custody without incident. The 28 year-old was charged with aggravated assault.
