COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- A driver says he feared for his life in Cookeville, Tenn., after flashing his car lights at an oncoming vehicle which turned around and chased him for 15 minutes.
The driver, not identified in a police report, said he flashed his lights Wednesday night because the other vehicle did not have them turned on.
The Cookeville Herald-Citizen reported that the second car pursued him and appeared to be trying to run him off the road.
The man called police from his car, and when officers arrived they charged 31-year-old Kristy Lynn Geer of Cookeville with aggravated assault. Officers quoted her as saying she thought it was her husband in the car.
