Greeneville, Tenn.-- Elizabethton man was convicted of 15 years in prison after a guilty plea of a firearm possession. He has already been convicted of nearly 50 offenses in Carter county. Brandon Douglas Honeycutt, 26, has been on parole for multiple burglaries.
After a search conducted by authorities, a .380 semi-automatic pistol was found as well as some of items recovered from the burglaries.
U.S. Attorney Bill Killian says the U.S. Attorney's Office will continue to focus their efforts on repeat offenders like Honeycutt.
