BELL COUNTY, Ky. (WVLT/WYMT) -- A man is back behind bars following an escape from the Bell County Detention Center.
The jailer says 24-year-old Joshua Green, of Middlesboro, got away while being booked around 7 PM Friday.
He says someone left the door open and Green ran out.
He was found only a half hour later near the Newtown Bridge.
His original charges were shoplifting and possession of a controlled substance.
He's now charged with tampering with physical evidence, escape, fleeing from police, resisting arrest, and disorderly conduct.
