JAMESTOWN, Tenn. - A woman and her on and off boyfriend face charges for stabbing a Fentress County man.

The Tennessee Bureau of Investigation charged the victim's ex-wife, Tina Garrett, and her sometimes-boyfriend Gilbert Corson Friday.

Fentress County Sheriff's Office found Jonathon Garrett stabbed in his throat at his house in Jamestown about 2:30 Friday morning. Crews took him to the hospital where he died.

Tina and Jonathon divorced earlier this year, but still lived in the same house on Fairgrounds Road in Fentress County.

The TBI says the Tina Garrett and Corson planned to kill Jonathon. Investigators say she called 911 from the house after she watched Corson stab him, but she stated an intruder attacked him.

Jonathon Garrett's body will be taken to the Medical Examiner's office for an autopsy.

The TBI charges both TIna Garrett and Corson with one count of first degree murder.

Tina Garrett was booked into the Fentress County Jail on $150,000 bond and Corson on $250,000 bond.
