KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Authorities are searching for the man who robbed an ORNL Credit Union at gunpoint on Tuesday.
According to the FBI, the suspect walked into the credit union, 808 Victor Drive, around 1:45 p.m., pulled out a silver, semi-automatic handgun, and demanded money. After receiving an undisclosed amount of money, the man took off in a blue, newer-model vehicle.
Witnesses said the man was between 35-40, approximately 6'1" - 6'3", with a thin build. He was wearing blue jeans, a dark colored shirt, a gray jacket with a white pin stripe, gloves, a beige colored knit hat with a dark pattern, and carried a dark colored book bag.
