NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- The Tennessee Court of the Judiciary is reviewing a complaint against a Williamson County judge who presided over the divorce case of country music singer Sara Evans.
The complaint was filed against Williamson County Judge James G. Martin by Craig Schelske, who is Evans' former husband, according to The Tennessean , which reported Shelske's sister gave the newspaper a copy of the filing.
Martin said he received the complaint and is preparing a response to the disciplinary panel.
In his complaint against the judge, Schelske claims Martin was biased against him and claims a gag order the judge issued violated his First Amendment speech rights.
Schelske has also filed suit against his former wife's previous attorney in the divorce case, which was finalized four years ago.
