CLINTON, Tenn. (WVLT)--A Former Clinton Police officer was arrested and charged with statutory rape. The mother of the 17-year-old girl told police that Chisum had inappropriate contact with her daughter.
The Anderson County Grand Jury returned an indictment against Chisum on one count of aggravated statutory rape at the completion of a month long TBI investigation and presentment to the grand jury.
The 29-year-old was booked into the Anderson County Jail this morning Chisum is being held on a $25,000 bond.
