Harlan man arrested on attempted murder charges

HARLAN, Ky. (WYMT/WVLT) -- One man faces attempted murder charges in Harlan County.

Kentucky State Police say 58-year-old Cletus Robbins was arrested Sunday night on Waldon Road.

Troopers received an arrest warrant after they say Robbins shot Benji Stout on May 2.

They say he also robbed Stout of more than $2,000 and threatened to kill his girlfriend.

Other than the attempted murder charges, Robbins is charged with robbery and kidnapping.
