KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- UPDATE: Eighteen month-old Brooklyn Stinnett found who was found unresponsive at the Big Oak Apartments, 3807 Middlebrook Pike, on Tuesday has died, Knoxville Police announced Friday.

Stinnett had been rushed to UT Medical Center after officers and emergency personnel responded to reports that she was unresponsive and not breathing shortly before 7:00 p.m. Tuesday.

She was pronounced dead at 12:45 p.m. Thursday.

The toddler's body is being sent to the Knox County Coroner for an autopsy. Evidence from the investigation will be presented to the district attorney's office for review and determination of possible charges.
