(WVLT) -- An issue is brewing before a federal appeals court if Jared Loughner should take medication so he can stand trial.
Loughner is the suspect in the January shooting rampage that killed six people and injured several others, including Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords.
A psychiatric hosptial where he's in custody began forcing him to take medication after he had several violent outbursts. But Loughner's attorneys say the forced medication violates his rights.
The three judges in the appeals case have not indicated when they will issue a ruling.
