Home invasion murder suspect turns himself in | UPDATE

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A man wanted in connection with a deadly home invasion has turned himself in.

Police say Dwaine Love surrendered shortly before noon Friday. Love is the fifth person to be arrested in this case.

Officers say 21 year-old John Huddleston was found dead at his home on Valley View Drive early Thursday morning.


Knoxville Police have arrest warrants for a man following a deadly home invasion that happened overnight.

Dwaine Love faces charges of First Degree Murder, Aggravated Robbery, Especially Aggravated Burglary, and Possession of a Weapon During the Commission of a Felony.

The charges are related to the murder of 21 year-old John Huddleston that happened at Valley View Drive early Thursday morning.

KPD says this is a targeted case, because the suspects knew the victim's since high school and were searching for drugs and money. The suspects shot and killed a dog. One female and male have minor gun shot wounds.
