MIDDLESBOROUGH, KY (WVLT)- Police in Middlesborough, Kentucky say a traffic stop leads to an interesting find- while the car's passenger is now facing drug related charges.

The car 38 year old Rodney Howard was riding in, was pulled over on Wednesday for a registration violation. But during the stop- authorities found over 300 Oxycodone pills on Howard, of Pathfork, Kentucky.

Police also say they found over 5 thousand dollars on Howard.

He's now charged with "Trafficking in a Controlled Substance", in the 1st degree and remains in the Bell County Detention Center.
