Knox Co. deputies looking for man who robbed store twice in a week

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - The Knox County Sheriff's Office is looking for a man they believe robbed the same store twice in the last week.

Deputies say a man walked into the Discount Tobacco Store on Tazewell Pike around 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, carrying a semi-automatic pistol.

They say he got away with an undisclosed amount of money, ordered the clerk to lie on the ground before taking off.

Detectives believe the same man robbed the store on June 25.

The suspect is described as a white male with dark hair, approximately 35-40-years old, 5’11”-6’2”, and 270-280 pounds.

He was wearing a white hoodie, camouflage shorts, grey tennis shoes, sunglasses, and an orange bandana covering his face at the time of Wednesday's robbery.

During last week’s robbery, he was wearing a green hoodie, camouflage shorts, grey tennis shoes, and a white bandana covering his face.
