Knox County man convicted of child rape

KNOX COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A Knox County man has been convicted of raping a child.

A jury found Troy Lee Love, 61, guilty of two counts of rape of a child and one count of aggravated assault.

Love is facing minimum of 25 years in prison.

Knox County Sheriff's deputies starting investigating Love in January 2013 after allegations arose that he sexually abused a 7-year-old.

Love was then arrested in August 2013.

He will have a sentencing hearing on September 25.
