KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - Knoxville police are looking for three suspects who burglarized a home then led police on a chase before crashing.
Officers were originally called out to home on Grand Avenue for a reported robbery at an apartment complex.
The suspects stole a Kia Sedona and that van was spotted by an officer on Western Ave. near I-40. The suspects refused to stop and crashed into a Toyota Celica at the intersection of Summit Hill Drive and Bell Street. The suspects then ran away.
The driver of the Toyota was taken to Fort Sanders Regional Hospital for treatment of non-serious injuries.
Officers set up a perimeter in the area, but could not find the suspects. No one was hurt in the robbery.
The van was reported stolen from south Knoxville on June 29.
