KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) - A 41-year-old Knoxville man was sentence to 100 months in federal prison Wednesday for possessing child pornography.

James Dale Parker, Jr. pleaded guilty in August 2013. Through the
execution of a search warrant by agents with the Federal Bureau of Investigation, 92 images and 265 videos of child pornography were found on a personal computer belonging to Parker.

The case was brought as part of Project Safe Childhood, a nationwide initiative launched in May 2006 by the Department of Justice to combat the growing epidemic of child sexual exploitation and abuse.
