Knoxville Walgreens robber still on the run

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Knoxville Police are still searching for the man who robbed the Walgreen's at the corner of Western Ave. and Copper Kettle Street on Friday afternoon, a KPD spokesperson said.

The suspect reportedly walked into the Walgreen's Pharmacy shortly after 2:30 p.m. and handed employees a note demanding pills. Police said he made off with a small amount of pills.

The suspect was described as a white man, around six feet tall, around 250-275 lbs. and wearing a gray and orange U.T. ball cap, a gray shirt, long shorts, and brown work boots. He reportedly took off in a black mid '90's Ford Mustang with a partial tag of 1-2-3.
