Knoxville apartment raid finds drugs, gun

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Members of the Knoxville Police Department's Repeat Offender Squad finds cocaine, pills, and a gun during a raid of a Knoxville apartment Tuesday afternoon, according to squad member Sgt. Josh Shaffer.

Authorities had been investigating 31 year-old Alejandro Licona and arrested him after executing a search warrant at Knob Hill Apartments on Wilson Road. There, Shaffer said officers found approximately an ounce of powder cocaine, Zanax pills, a Kel-Tec 9mm pistol, paraphernalia related to cocaine distribution, over $1500.00 in cash, and several forms of identification that appeared to false.

Licona was charged with Possession of Cocaine with Intent to Sell, Possession of a Firearm in the commission of a Felony, Possession of Zanax, and Forgery.
