Knoxville fugitive arrested in West Virginia

HICO, W.Va. (AP) -- A Tennessee fugitive wanted on a charge of parental child abduction has been arrested in West Virginia.

Media outlets report a 4-year-old boy was found unharmed in 52-year-old Keith Gordon Jett's vehicle when he was arrested Wednesday by Fayette County sheriff's deputies in Hico.

The Knoxville, Tenn., resident was charged with being a fugitive from justice and was taken to the Southern Regional Jail pending an extradition hearing.

Sheriff Steve Kessler says the boy was turned over to the West Virginia Department of Health and Human Resources pending his return to his mother.
