KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- One man recovers in the hospital after he injected himself with an unknown substance Monday night.
Knoxville police say they took Justin Walker to UT Medical Center after they busted a meth lab in Northeast Knoxville. He will be arrested for 3 meth-related charges.
Cops responded to an anonymous tip that led them to 2511 Pocahontas Drive. Neighbors say they noticed people coming and going from the house.
When they got there, they found evidence of a meth lab inside the townhouse. Police removed 6 people and a dog from inside the house, and decontaminated them. Walker had to be taken out on a stretcher. The other 5 people were questioned and released, but police say there will be additional charges in the invesitgation.
The Knoxville Fire Department and organized crime unit were called in to help Knoxville Police.
