COOKEVILLE, Tenn. (AP) -- Police in Cookeville, Tenn., say a Knoxville teenager is jailed on multiple charges for throwing rocks at a man he wrongly accused, breaking his jaw.
According to the Cookeville Herald-Citizen, 18-year-old Jacob Wayne Beason become upset early Sunday when his girlfriend told him she had been mistreated at a party (http://bit.ly/tpmdUgPo ). The paper said he then searched for the man but went to the wrong house and threw rocks at a person on the porch there.
Beason was apprehended after a police chase. He was charged with aggravated assault, felony evading arrest and evading arrest, with his bond set at $35,000.
