KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Krystal's employee told police he was robbed at gunpoint while trying to make a night deposit at a local bank early Tuesday morning.
The worker said he went to make the deposit when a man approached him from behind and said "give me your money." When the victim turned around he said he saw the man had a gun and after a a brief struggle the assailant made off with an undisclosed amount of money.
Following the incident, the employee returned to the Krystal's on N. Broadway and called the police.
The worker described his assailant as a white man in his 20's, 5'6"-5'7", 120-130 lbs., and wearing a white hooded shirt, dark blue jeans, a mask or handkerchief covering his face.
