CLINTON, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Lake City woman was arrested Wednesday after she allegedly met with an undercover Tennessee Bureau of Investigation agent and tried to arrange to have her four-month-old baby's father killed, according to Anderson Co. Sheriff Paul White.

Teresa Dawn Wright is accused of meeting with the agent at an Arby's in Clinton and offering the agent her 2001 Chevrolet Cavalier if the agent killed her ex-boyfriend.

Investigators believe she wanted to find someone to kill him because of an upcoming court appearance involving visitation, custody, and child support of their child. They found out she was looking from a tipster who alerted the Anderson Co. Sheriff's Office she wanted to hire a hit man.

The arranged meeting at the fast-food restaurant was the result of a joint investigation by the Sheriff's Office and TBI. White credited TBI agents with their quick response and assistance.

Wright has been charged with solicitation of murder and is being held at the Anderson Co. Detention Facility.
