LENOIR CITY, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Lenoir City man was arrested on Monday following a nearly four month investigation into charges he raped a child under twelve, the Loudon Co. Sheriff's Office announced on Friday.
On August 8, a Grand Jury indicted Donald Hornby, 53, on one count of Rape of Child, based on the information gathered by investigators, which included statements from the Hornby.
He is being held on $25,000 bond, and would face mandatory prison time if convicted, Sheriff Tim Guider added.
The Loudon Co. Sheriff's said its Criminal Investigation Department along with the Department of Children's Services began their investigation into the incident back in late April.
