MADISONVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A Madisonville woman was arrested on meth charges on Wednesday after she exceeded her thirty-day purchase limit for Pseudoephedrine three times since July, according to the Monroe Co. Sheriff's Office.

Deborah Edge was charged with Promotion of Methamphetamine Manufacture. The 53 year-old is being held at Monroe Co. Jail on $10,000 bond.

A spokesperson with the Sheriff's Office said Edge exceeded the legal limit over periods that spanned July, August, September, October, and November.

Pseudoephedrine is a precursor to the production of Methamphetamine.
