MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Police responded to a man in his car who had multiple stab wounds Friday afternoon.
The driver got the attention of an officer from the median on Highway 321.
He told police that a man got into his car at a stop light on US 321 at William Blount Drive. The driver said the suspect stabbed him multiple times before getting out of the car and running away.
He described the suspect as a man in his 40s with long brown hair and a red goatee, wearing a yellow t-shirt.
The driver was taken to U.T. Medical Center.
The suspect has not been found.
