KNOXVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- A man is still alive after being shot in the head.

Police say the man pulled up in his driveway on Cecil Johnson Rd. in northwest Knoxville and saw someone in a ski mask.

The person pulled out a gun, shot him in the head, and drove off.

Emergency crews took the victim to UT Medical Center, where they say he is alive and alert.

Police are still investigating what happened.
