BLOUNT COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - Maryville Police are on the hunt for a man they say may have robbed two different eateries within 24 hours.
Police Chief Tony Crisp says the man is armed and considered dangerous. He used a handgun Saturday night during a robbery at the Sun Rise Chinese Restaurant on Highway 411.
It happened around 7:30 when the man walked in with a shirt tied around his face. Investigators brought out police dogs to try and track the suspect. They say they're not sure if he was on foot or using a car.
The same man may have been responsible for hitting the Subway on Highway 321 around 10:30 Saturday night.
Chief Crisp says the suspect is described as a white male, about 6 feet 5 with brown hair. A better description is not available because of the way he covered his face with a shirt.
