MARYVILLE, Tenn. (WVLT) -- Three men are behind bars after authorities bust an active methamphetamine lab in Blount Co. on Sunday night, according to Sheriff James Lee Berrong.
He said Richard Glen McMahan, 29; Jonathan Collin Russell, 19; and Rodney Lynn Brown, 20 are all being held on $25,000 bond while they await their court hearing on Wednesday.
Officers responded to reports of a lab at McMahan's home on Young Ave. in Maryville. After finding evidence, they called in the Fifth Judicial Drug Task Force who reportedly discovered an inactive "one pot" method of manufacturing meth.
The Tennessee Methamphetamine Task Force is disposing of the lab.
