McMinn Co. man indicted for video poker machines in bar

McMINN COUNTY, Tenn. (WVLT) - A McMinn County man has been indicted for having two illegal video poker machines.

TBI Special Agents began investigating David Thomas Ingle in March.

Ingle owns the “Double O” on Highway 30 in Athens. On March 12th, Special Agents executed a search warrant at Ingle’s business, during which they seized the two machines.

On May 20th, the McMinn County Grand Jury returned an indictment for the 54-year-old, charging him with one count of Possession of a Gambling Device.

On Wednesday, Ingle turned himself into the McMinn County Justice Center, where he was later released after posting $5,000 bond.

The case remains active and ongoing, with the possibility of additional arrests in the future.
