GEORGETOWN, Tenn. (WVLT) -- An inmate at Meigs Co. Jail is back behind bars after escaping on Sunday. Twenty-eight year-old Christopher Eric Milsaps turned himself in to TBI agents on Tuesday.
Milsaps was originally serving time on felony methamphetamine charges. He will now be charged with escape.
The TBI said it was able to track down Milsaps thanks to the help of a cooperative citizen. Milsaps was taken into custody in a Sav a Lot grocey store parking lot on Highway 58 in Georgetown.
